My intern Mrs. Lloyd did a great lesson with the kids to teach them how to recognize coins and work on counting them. They really enjoyed having fake money to count with.
I have been a First Grade teacher for over 6 years. Right now I have a full-time intern and together we have done several really fun activities. We often use blogs to find ideas for fun things to do so it seemed only natural to eventually start sharing and create our own blog.
